[...] [www] Free Jazz Funk Drum by Orange Tree Samples – Completely different to the previous three links, these samples come from a rare jazz/funk kit. And I somehow always come up with great beats when playing with these. They were created with special attention added to expressive playing, with varying velocities, so get your shuffle on and make some funky beats. Mappings in sfz format are available here (made by PL Jones). [...]

Unfortunately the MIDI patch change, used to switch between loaded instruments in an instrument bank in KONTAKT, isn't the same thing as a CC#. However, it may be able to do this in KONTAKT 4.

Hello!
Can this be used as a keyswitch for patches in an instrument bank in kontakt 3?
Can I switch from slot 1 to slot 2 pressing c#0, as an example?
How is it done, if it´s so?
Kind regards
Göran Ericsson

The Strawberry rhythm guitar is heading in that direction, simplifying performance and giving the "brain" of the sample library more control.

Can't wait for it to come out :D
Have you ever thought of doing the kind of thing Ralph Zeuner is doing with Jamstix, have a "Brain" controlling the rhythm guitar's voicings and style to give it more variety and naturalness? It would probably work by statistics, have a guitar player jam along to different beats on a midi guitar and then analyse the numbers.......
